In an accident case a lawyer such as our firm Probinsky & Cole we charge what’s called a contingency fee. Contingency means that we have to win the case.
We have to win the case for you so a case will go to trial before a pay. If we’re not successful in winning a case for you and those were the circumstances, you don’t pay us anything.
We don’t charge anything.
Our fees are based upon our winning the case for you and when you come to see us to ask us about a case and bring your case to us we don’t charge anything for your consultation and as we go along. We will meet regularly and speak regularly and help you through the process of a personal injury claim.

When the case is settled or the case is tried and we win by verdict from the jury we charge percentage.
The percentage can range from 25% to 30, to 40% depending on the time that we put in the case, difficulty of the case and all the things we had to do.
So, there is no charge unless we win the case for you and there is no cost either. We don’t collect any cost unless we win the case and if we do we pay back our costs.
Costs can include investigations, hiring experts, engineers, doctors, more experts or generally preparing a case from that perspective
